As a volunteer, you will be able to help through becoming a team host or a judge coordinator. The responsibilities involved in these different functions can be broken down as follows:
Team hosts are assigned to each competing team. Responsibilities include: accompanying the assigned team to their preparation rooms and presentation rooms, maintaining the rules of the competition during the preparation period, being available during their preparations should they have any requirements and providing time-limit notifications. Let’s not forget, as the team host, you are their biggest fan!
The judge coordinator’s tasks take place during the presentation. As a judge coordinator, your responsibilities include guiding the judges to the appropriate presentation rooms, introducing the judges, explaining the rules, as well as being the presentation timekeeper. Due to the bilingual nature of this competition, judge coordinators should be able to speak fluent French.
We’re always looking for people to help!
