11 Jan 2007: Alcan's future under study

MONTREAL, Jan. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Gathered in Montreal for the John Molson MBA International Case Competition, 150 Master of Business Administration students from all over the world are studying Alcan's future, responding to an invitation from the company's Vice-President Corporate Strategy, Arvind Jain.

During his presentation to the 36 student delegations from Canada, China, England, Finland, France, Germany, India, Sweden and United States, Arvind Jain asked participants to assess the company's development and growth strategy in Russia, and to use creativity and innovation to propose new avenues to help the company continue to cope with the ever growing challenges of the aluminium industry.

Participants will present their strategic recommendations to Alcan's senior management today at noon, at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure Hotel (900 de la Gauchetière West - use the escalators located next to Room Le Portage).
